On the day of your bloodwork appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly wellness experts and placed in a comfortable, climate-controlled treatment room. We will first clean your arm, then insert a needle to draw a blood sample. The blood is collected in small vials to be sent to our laboratory for testing. Once we have obtained the samples, we will place gauze on your skin and apply pressure. In terms of side effects, you may experience mild soreness and bruising where the needle entered the skin, and you may feel slightly dizzy or lightheaded. These symptoms resolve quickly, however, and you can immediately return to your normal schedule.
