How does it Work?
The injection provider will deliver Kybella medication directly into the “banana roll” or the banana-shaped fat pockets under the buttocks. In a few weeks after the Kybella med spa treatment, the destroyed fat cells are removed from the body through the lymphatic system. The patient will be able to notice a slimmer butt when the fat cells are completely eliminated.
The active molecule in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, which works to destroy fat cells in such a way that they will not re-grow in the future. In that sense, the fat removal is permanent. The body will gradually generate fresh collagen fibers to provide a tighter and smoother appearance to the buttocks that have achieved fat elimination.
When will the Results Appear?
The complete Kybella injection treatment for butt fat removal may require two to three injection sessions for best results. Each injection session will be spaced six to 12 weeks apart.
Some swelling and tenderness in the injection sites may be experienced for a week or two. Thereafter, the fat will begin to disappear gradually over the next few weeks.

However, individuals with mild to moderate amounts of fat tissue deposits in the buttock area may also benefit from Kybella injections. Candidates who are willing to accept this off-label use may achieve slimmer and more proportionate buttocks without having to undergo butt lift plastic surgery.
Procedure
Kybella butt fat reduction injection procedure is offered on an outpatient basis. The med spa injection provider will spend the maximum time in planning the placement of each injection. Multiple small injections in carefully targeted sites can be produced more effective and natural looking results.
The patient may have to spend 45 minutes to an hour, including the time spent on taking pictures and providing after-care instructions. Injections are delivered through tiny needles to minimize discomfort. But the provider may also use a topical numbing cream to reduce any feeling of pain.
