How to Prep for Your Treatment
Before your treatment, you’ll have a consultation with your CoolSculpting provider to discuss the results you’d like to achieve. It is important that you know that CoolSculpting only reduces fat from targeted areas of the body, and is not a weight loss solution. On the day of your treatment, you’ll want to bring your phone, a magazine, or something for you to do to pass time with. You should wear comfortable, baggy clothing and have a small meal before treatment to help prevent nausea.
Your Treatment Experience
Your CoolSculpting treatment will be done in-office and is usually completed within an hour depending on the treatment areas. To start your procedure, your provider will apply the CoolSculpting applicator to your treatment areas. The applicator will suction the skin and bring it to a freezing temperature, freezing the underlying fat cells.
