Botox Can Help Give You Younger Looking Eyes Botox injectables are an appropriate treatment for the reduction of facial signs of aging in a non-surgical manner.

Participants who received Botox injections in the lower lids and crow’s feet area were more likely to report positive results compared to those who only received this treatment in the lower eyelids.

Treating Crow’s Feet with Botox

Crow’s feet, or lateral canthal lines, refer to the fine lines and wrinkles that radiate from the outside corners of the eyes. These wrinkles may cause a tired appearance in the eye region making an individual appear older than their age.

The FDA has approved Botox for the cosmetic reduction of crow’s feet. This treatment is meant to create a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance around the eyes.

Botox Study for Crow’s Feet Reduction

Allergan Inc., the manufacturer of Botox, conducted in-depth research and extensive tests to showcase the efficiency of these injections in reducing the appearance of crow’s feet.

Due to this, the FDA approved Botox for the treatment of such lines. Allergen conducted an extensive study with more than 1,000 adult participants who were segregated into two groups.

One group consisting of 833 participants received Botox injections for their crow’s feet while the other group did not undergo any treatment. The group that received Botox treatment showed a major reduction in the appearance of crow’s feet in comparison to the group that did not receive any treatment.

Botox for the Treatment of Frown Lines

An individual may appear tired or angry due to the appearance on frown lines. Botox can reduce these lines effectively. The elimination of these lines between the brows can make a person appear more rested and approachable at social settings or the workplace.
