Kybella Treatment

Kybella is a unique medication based procedure designed specifically to reduce submental fat. How does Kybella Work?

When a synthetic form of this agent is delivered in a controlled manner through small injections directly into the submental tissue, it triggers dismantling of the undesirable fat cells. The body gradually re-absorbs these cells, revealing a slimmer chin profile.

CoolMini Treatment

Zeltiq created the CoolMini applicator to enable the treatment providers to reach narrow or difficult-to-access areas in the body such as the submental region under the chin. CoolMini treatment involves the same innovative cooling process as CoolSculpting to freeze off the unwanted fat cells. Once the unwanted cells are frozen, they eventually disintegrate and get removed from the body.

Patients will usually require only one or two CoolMini sessions to reduce double chin appearance, with each session lasting for about one hour. In most cases, up to 20 percent fat under the chin can be reduced with CoolMini program.

Non-invasive Procedure

Unlike Kybella, CoolMini is a completely non-invasive procedure, involving no needles and no administering of any type of medications. It exposes the targeted submental area to a very cool temperature, which selectively freezes the cold-sensitive fat cells.
